Does everyone need to download an app?
No. Fairway runs in the browser. Start a round, share the link, and your group follows along on their own phones. No sign-up needed, no downloads.
Who can enter scores?
Whoever starts the round gets a 6-character scorer code. Share it with anyone else who should keep score. Everyone else can follow along but can't change anything.
How are handicaps worked out?
Enter each player's handicap index and tees. Fairway calculates the WHS course handicap, applies each game's allowance, and puts strokes on the right holes by stroke index.
Does Fairway handle the money?
No money moves through Fairway. It tells you who owes who, with the fewest payments, and links to Venmo, Cash App or PayPal. Set a stake of $0 to play for points.
What if we lose signal on the course?
Keep scoring. Scores save on your phone and sync as soon as you're back in range.
What if our course isn't listed, or the card is wrong?
Enter the scorecard yourself, or fix any par, yardage, rating or stroke index before or during the round. Save it on your phone and it's ready the next time you play there.
